Today picked blueberries, and then I filled my tummy full.  (The only bad part about picking blueberries was all of the anthills.)

We're Back! Summer 2016 - Summer Day #1

We're back celebrating summer of 2016.  I hope to post a pic a day and maybe a few lines.  So, here goes...  To celebrate the end of the school year, we went to a new indoor go karting track.

Getting to School

Some days I walk to school; some days I bike to school.  One day I even got to walk to school with my friend Trevor.  I love biking to school!  I even got my own lock.

I am also playing soccer this fall and continuing my swimming lessons this fall.  I am on a new soccer team, The Storm.  Three boys from my class last year are on the team, Trevor, Carter, and Brooks.  We have a fun time.

First Grade Life

Moving on from kindergarten...
My first month of first grade was awesome.  We got to switch tables the next month.  In September, I was at the purple table.  Now I am at the yellow table in October.  Most of the time I ride my bike to school.  So far in my whole school year, I was absent just once.  My favorite special is art because I get to paint, draw, and the teacher's stuff is pretty fun.  Last art class we got to make a pumpkin patch collage.  I added killer sunglasses to one of my pumpkins.  I hope I have a great time for the rest of the school year.

Final Days of Summer

Summer is almost over!  Oh no!  We still have lots of adventures to do.

We rode the Silver Line Metro.  It was cool. (We went with Trevor and Levi.)

I also rode the red water slide at Ocean Dunes water park. 

At the Building Museum, the maze was so hard.  It had tall walls and a lot of dead ends. 

The Capital Wheel at National Harbor is 165 feet in diameter and so cool.  I felt great even at the top.

How can it be August??

After three weeks of camp, we are back at the beach.  I spent some time with Jack, and we surfed the shelves (Little waves are the bottom shelf, medium waves are the middle shelf, and big waves are the top shelves.  Tsunamis are added-on shelves.).  Big Bertha the Storm brought us tide pools. Then, after Jack left, I got to do some beach house renovation and demolition.  We took out a cabinet, which I got to destroy.
