My day was going along just peachy, until my mom came home and it was time for my two month doctor's appointment. I was warned that this was going to be a tough one. But, that was a bit of an understatement. First, I got weighed and measured. I am 12 lbs. 10 oz. and 23.5 inches long--great progress! Then, the doctor checked me out and gave me two thumbs up. While we were waiting for the nurse to return, I was even smiling and chuckling. Finally, the nurse returns with five vaccines--four needles and one oral vaccine. Though, she was quick, I looked into my mom's eyes with shock, dismay, and then I let out some screams giving way to a cry with tears. I was a trooper though and was quickly soothed by nursing. I am not feeling quite myself, so I did not get to enjoy my new toy that came in the mail today from my Grandma Ashley. (Thank you, Grandma!) It didn't take long for Romeo to enjoy instead!

The trick is to give him a dose of Baby Tylenol when you first get to the doctor's office. By the time they're ready to give him the shot, the painkiller has kicked in.
Okay, it still stinks, but it seems to pass a little quicker with painkillers. :(
Sorry, Will!!
