And, I have discovered that I am the king of chotskies and candy. Well, I already knew that I love candy, but I also had to stop in each store along the Gatlinburg Parkway to look at knick-knacks and souvenirs. And, after a small bag of candy, it was difficult to pull me away! Don't be surprised if I come home with an air-brushed t-shirt or an engraved cedar wood sign for each of you ;)

Day Three on Monday, August 1, 2011
Today we got a lay of the land. We drove into the National Park and then
around Gatlinburg. And, at different points we got out to explore. After my nap, we jumped into activity. We played miniature golf, ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, listened to some bluegrass music, watched some toe tappers, and went through the mirror maze. I just laughed and laughed in the mirror maze. I thought it was the funniest thing that I kept running into the myself.
